3D Marine is often called upon to design and build specialised vessels and props for the growing number of Movies and Commercials being made in the region.

For example this Submarine was designed and built for the movie The Water Giant.

The Water Giant Submarine

The Producers of the film “The Water Giant” approached 3D with a concept for a power Submarine.

Using Solid Modelling technology, 3D developed a Virtual Model for the U K based animation company.

3D then completed working drawings and Built a full size Submarine Shell in Queenstown.
Menwhile in the UK the animation studio used the Computer model to “Build” a fully working Virtual Sub.

The “Real” Sub was powered by a 90 HP Outboard and was used for local flming before being “Blown UP” as part of the film finale.

3D Marine also designed and built this Special JET POWERED BARGE for shooting specials shots for the Lord of The Rings Trillogy.
